Engineered Garments 2013 “Spring/Summer” Collection Lookbook by end clothing | Photos

The crew at end clothing has assembled a lookbook for Engineered Garments‘ Spring/Summer 2013 collection that showcases the brand’s ability to reinvent workwear classics, this time around infusing the pieces with a strong warm-weather sensibility. It’s most obviously apparent in Daiki Suzuki’s distinctive prints — rendered here in finishes including colorful florals and paisleys — combined with technical fabrics and EG’s signature attention to detail. Standout pieces include the lightweight Ground Jacket, presented in both solid colorways and Hawaiian floral styles, and the tailored Baker Jacket, featuring a duo of allover print styles made up of paisley and anchor print designs. Cotton woven shirts and military-inspired Fatigue Pants make up the essentials component of the range. Check out more looks in the gallery below, and find the Engineered Garments Spring/Summer 2013 collection now at end clothing’s online store. Continue reading

Vine App – Create and Share Short Looping Videos

If you’ve looking to express yourself and you need a little more room than 140 characters to do it, you might want to check out Twitter‘s latest extension, Vine. Capable of producing and sharing short (we’re talking about 6 seconds or less) looping videos with sound, Vine has been called the Instagram of video by some in the business. Officially announced by the Vine crew (Twitter acquired Vine Labs Inc) earlier this week, Vine brings your ability to share what you and your friends are doing, seeing, or hearing to an entirely new level, all neatly packaged in a .gif-like video. Using a very user-friendly interface, Vine helps you to record, process, and share your Vine however you like, utilizing your Twitter account as one way to quickly have a it. Time will tell if this mode of self-expression will catch on, but since its free to download off of iTunes there’s no reason not to give it a go.

New 128GB Apple iPad with Retina Display Available February 5th | Photo

Apple has confirmed the imminent release of a 128GB version of the fourth-generation iPad with Retina display, effectively doubling the 64GB option, which to this point had been the largest storage option on the Apple tablet. The Wi-Fi-only iPad will retail for $799, while the cellular version carries a $929 price tag. The main features remain unchanged, meaning the 128GB iPad keeps the 9.7-inch Retina Display, FaceTime HD camera, and an A6X processor. Apple appears to be positioning the high-capacity iPad for use in the business market, stressing its potential for handling data-intensive materials such as 3D CAD files, X-rays, film edits, music tracks, and project blueprints. Expect the newest additions to the iPad family to launch next Tuesday, February 5th.

Release Date: February 5th, 2013 (Tuesday)
